Activity description
The OAO Tambaineft of the Tambeiskoe group of oilfields is located in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, 120 kilometres south west of Surgut and 30 kilometres west of Tambeiskoe Village. The Tambeiskoe fields include West Tambienskoe, Upper Tambeiskoe and Vadelyp. OAO Tambaineft holds licences for the development of the three Tambeiskoe fields with the Licence Area totalling 2141.4 sq km. The Tambeiskoe fields recoverable С1+С2 category oil reserves approved by the Russian Federation State Committee on Reserves (GKZ) amount to 140 million tonnes.
